Terms of Service

Seventeen Sierra provides: Professional consulting services (fractional CISO, capacity building, security assessments), BYOC software products deployed in your Google Cloud, and AI-assisted tools for content generation and workflow automation.

Client Responsibility: AI systems are probabilistic and may produce inaccurate information (hallucinations). You must review all AI outputs, verify accuracy, and make final decisions based on professional judgment.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: Seventeen Sierra shall not be liable for damages from AI-generated content use.

Total Liability Cap: Fees paid over twelve (12) months preceding claim

Excluded Damages: Indirect, consequential, punitive damages including lost profits, data, or regulatory fines

Client Retains: All rights to Client Data, Deliverables, and BYOC application content

Seventeen Sierra Retains: Background IP (methodologies, frameworks, Polylith architecture)

License: Upon payment, Client receives perpetual, non-exclusive license to use Background IP in Deliverables for internal purposes

Software and services are Commercial Products per FAR 2.101. Developed exclusively at private expense.

U.S. Government use subject to FAR 12.212 and DFARS 227.7202 restrictions.

Neither party liable for failure due to: Acts of government/terrorism/war, natural catastrophes, pandemic/public health emergency, third-party service failures (Google Cloud Platform), illness of personnel or immediate family

Timeline extensions granted as needed. Extended Force Majeure (60+ days) allows termination.

Governing Law: Commonwealth of Virginia
